Jabu was the second bronze saint to appear in the story. he was an orphan like many others and was sent out by his father mitsumasa kido with 99 other brothers. jabu achieved the unicorn cloth in algeria and returned to japan for the galaxian wars tournament, where he received the gold cloth of sagittarius. in his first match, he easily defeated lionet ban, but was outmatched by andromeda shun whose chains were impenetrable. jabu then went back to algeria to further his training and upgrade his cloth. he came to saori kido's rescue when she was shot by a golden arrow and protected her from the antagonistic forces of the sanctuary. after that, he resided in the sanctuary and defended it against saints revived by hades and protected seika, pegasus seiyas sister, from attacks by the god of death.
