In ancient times, the goddess Athena had warriors known as Saints who harnessed cosmic energy. Currently, a young man named Seiya is striving to become a Saint like them by obtaining the mythical Cloth of Pegasus. Along with other Saints possessing their own Cloths, they are fighting for Athena's sake.

Saint Seiya was published in English by VIZ Media as Knights of the Zodiac from January 21, 2004 to February 2, 2010. It has also been published in French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Chinese.
