Steiner rescues her from being killed by her "alter egos" who murdered her younger brother. She then requests that he make a contract with her, hoping it will increase his strength. Her young appearance results from a genetic mutation caused by this pact. Despite being an experienced contractee, she has gained valuable knowledge and intuition. She owns several weapons known as "thousands," but only two are depicted in the manga - the Hex Ring, which creates the Hex Shield to protect against attacks, and a ring she gave to Keita.
