In 2027 Kyoto, there's a high school student who is 16 years old and stars in the movie. At first, he lacked self-assurance and decisiveness. However, his classmates selected him to be part of the book committee, which led him to meet Ruri and develop as an individual throughout the film. He eventually became more courageous and resolute.
