In the year 2027, Kyoto has experienced significant technological advancements. Living in this city are two individuals with contrasting personalities: Naomi Katagaki, a shy and introverted boy who loves books, and Ruri Ichigyou, a girl known for her cold demeanor and bluntness towards others. Despite their shared love for reading, Naomi is hesitant to approach Rumi due to her unfriendly nature. During one of his walks, Naomi witnesses an aurora in the sky that disappears quickly. Shortly after, he encounters a three-legged crow and a hooded figure who reveals himself as Naomi from ten years into the future. This future version explains that he has come to prevent a tragic event involving Rumi that will occur shortly after they start dating. Initially skeptical of his words, present-day Naomi decides to follow his future self's instructions and get closer to Rumi in an attempt to save her. Hello World focuses on the relationship between present-day Naomi and his future self as they work together to change the course of events for Rumi. Will their efforts be successful, or will fate have other plans?
