The main character of the series is Reiji Kurose, who plans to leave his hometown but faces conflicts due to certain circumstances. Despite being a teenager in a small town, he feels like he's living an unfulfilling life. He lives with his mother, shut-in brother, and grandmother suffering from dementia. He bears a scar above his left eyebrow. His life takes a new direction when he encounters the popular idol Nagi Aoe.
