Siegfried Kircheis, a young captain serving under Reinhard von Lohengramm's command, was born as a commoner and first met Reinhard when they were both around ten years old. Their families lived next door to each other, and after introducing themselves, Reinhard decided to call him Kircheis instead of Siegfried, which sounded better. The two quickly struck up a lifelong friendship.
When the emperor took Reinhard's sister as his concubine, Annerose asked Kircheis to promise that he would always be by her brother's side. He kept this promise and followed Reinhard in the military, where they rose through the ranks together, facing many challenges along the way. Eventually, Reinhard was made a count and given command of a fleet, paving their path to power.
Kircheis is an excellent tactician who can often predict and discern Reinhard's elaborate battle plans. He is also a kind person and a dedicated friend to Reinhard, always by his side in red-colored battleship Barbarossa. He acts as a restraint for Reinhard's ambition and wrath when necessary, believing in both his abilities and the righteousness of his intentions. His only goal is to help Reinhard fulfill his destiny.
