Tadasturu Teori was a dollmaker and an expert in oddities, similar to Yozuru Kagenui. However, unlike Kagenui who specialized in living oddities, Tadatsuru focused on dead ones. He viewed these creatures as beautiful and often captured them for himself. As a stray specialist, he was highly passionate about oddities. Tadasturu was also part of Izuko Gaens group at college which included Meme Oshino, Yozuru Kagenui, and Deishuu Kaiki, known as the Occult Research Club. Despite their shared interest in oddities, Tadatsuru and Kagenui had different views on them, leading to a rivalry between them. This rivalry intensified after Yotsugi Ononoki was created by the group and chose Kagenui over him as her master.
