In both versions, Sajis partner is a mysterious figure with magical abilities who plays a significant role in shaping events. In the visual novel version, he orchestrates the brainwashing of Sōso and Shuyu to enable them to kill Kazuto. On the other hand, in the anime version, this character provides the Chō sisters with the "Crucial Keys to the Way of Peace" (太平要術, Taihei Yōjutsu), which they use to create magical microphones and kick-start their careers as idol singers. Despite his or her motives being unclear at this time, it appears that this character is using the Chō sisters to amplify the book's magic.
