Pidgey, ポッポ

Pidgey is a small, plump-bodied avian Pokémon with brown feathers except for its cream-colored face, underside, and flight feathers. Its head has three tufts of feathers; the center two are brown while the outer one is cream-colored. Below its crest are narrow eyes with white sclera, pupil, black irises, and angular markings extending from behind them to its cheeks. Pidgey has a grayish-pink beak and feet with two toes in front and one in back. Its tail consists of three feathers, brown in color. Pidgey is known for its sharp sense of direction and homing instincts, enabling it to return to its nest regardless of the distance flown. It tends to flee from enemies rather than fight them. To protect itself, Pidgey can create whirlwinds by rapidly flapping its wings and dust clouds. Its signature move in Generation III was Feather Dance. Pidgey is common throughout its range, often found in meadows and temperate forests. Its natural predators include Ekans and Sneasel while it preys on Seedot.
