Bonsly is a spherical, chocolate-colored Pokemon with a club-like structure on top of its head. It has a ring around its middle and three yellow spots on its face, two surrounding its small black eyes. Bonsly has short legs and toeless feet, as well as a hole on its back similar to a flowerpot drainage hole. Despite being often mistaken for a Grass-type, Bonsly's body is biologically closer to stone. Its green spheres dry out, increasing their dull luster as they do so. Bonsly can remain in one spot for extended periods and has a habit of crying due to excess moisture in its body. As it cries, it expels both sweat and tears from its eyes; Bonsly sweat tastes salty while tears are slightly bitter. If it gets too damp with this moisture, it will die. This habit also makes enemies let their guard down. Bonsly prefers dry, rocky environments but can also be found in gardens. Young Bonsly needs bottle-feeding but can eat solid food when matured. People often think Bonsly is crying in its sleep, but it's just expelling water from its body to regulate fluid levels. Bonsly evolves into Sudowoodo.
