A former ETU star who played for the Japanese National Team has moved on to play for a foreign club after achieving success in their homeland. After retiring from playing, Tatsumi coached FC Eastham, an English Division 5 amateur team, into the fourth round of the FA Cup. This accomplishment convinced his ex-teammate Gotoh, who is now General Manager at East Tokyo United, to persuade him to return to Japan and coach the team where he played during his career.
