Daru, DaSH, DaSP, Hack, Perverted Gentleman, Super Hakar, 橋田至

A student at Tokyo Denki University studying electrical engineering. He is an avid fan of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional anime girls, often using @ch terminology in conversation. While some of his comments may be perceived as sexual harassment, he has a close friendship with Rintarou, whom he's known since high school. Although he frequently rejects Rintarou's outrageous requests as "annoying," he secretly completes them in the correct order. Despite this, he trusts Rintarou and values his companionship. He is highly confident in his programming abilities and hacking skills, often referred to as a "Super Hacker." However, he dislikes being called "Super Haker" and prefers to spend most of his time at the computer. His nickname is "Daru," short for his name.

His time machine is what Suzuha used to travel to the past, but as it was incomplete (unlike the time machine Kurisu made in 2034), it couldn't be used to travel to the future. It was later revealed in the series that he is Suzuhas father, pointed out by Mayuri.In the future of the Alpha world line, he and Okabe became the fo "DaSH" is read "Daru the Super Hacker," but he temporarily calls himself "DaSP" ("Daru the Super Programmer") in the final chapter.
