Ran is a tranquil girl who loves caring for others despite having a fear of water due to her past as a goldfish. Her hairstyle resembles fish fins, and this fear led her to develop hydrophobia. Despite this, she has gained the most screen time in the anime and was used extensively in advertising it. The series begins with Ran's death as a goldfish rather than the other angels'. She is romantically interested in Goro and often becomes sensitive when dealing with matters related to his heart. Tsubasa acknowledges that her feelings for him are stronger than her own, and she vows to bring them together. Ran was one of the first three angels introduced in the series and holds a senior rank. Her color image is pink.
