Ryuuya is a competent but low-ranked samurai who safeguards Kannas wellbeing. He soon developed close ties with Kanna and eventually they became romantically involved. However, after diverting attention from Uraha for Ryuuya, Kanna was afflicted by Buddhist priests to endure an eternal cycle of rebirths, agony, and demise.
