Izuku Midoriya is the main character in Boku no Hero Academia. Although he was born without a Quirk, he caught the attention of the legendary hero All Might and became his pupil at UA. Despite being bullied for not having a Quirk since childhood, Izuku is initially portrayed as timid and polite. However, after joining UA and facing Katsuki during Battle Training, he has become more confident and brave. Izuku is diligent and strong-willed, with a deep admiration for Heroes. He keeps detailed notebooks about heroes and their Quirks, including those of his fellow students at UA. Izuku is also caring and will not hesitate to rescue someone in danger, even if he knows he may not be strong enough. When faced with personal problems, he tries to help, regardless of whether it's his business or not. Izuku has a tendency to overthink and mumble to himself when anything grabs his attention, which can make him appear lost in thought.
