Eyeshield 21, 小早川 瀬那

The protagonist of Eyeshield 21 is a first-year student named Sohaku Kiriyama, who initially joins the football team at Deimon High School under duress from Hiruma Shamiji. Initially, Sohaku was a timid and unskilled gopher but discovered his natural talent for speed after being forced to join the team. As he gained confidence in himself and mastered various techniques such as "Speed of Light Pace," Sohaku became an accomplished player. Throughout the anime and manga series, Sohaku often taps into his emotional state to access the "Speed of Light Pace," but this would cause him to overexert himself and faint. Eventually, after the Death March arc, Sohaku develops new techniques such as "Devil Bat Ghost," "Devil Bat Hurricane," and "Devil Stungun." These moves allow him to cut without stopping, incorporate a spin into his attacks, and block with one arm, respectively.
