Chizuru, being half-Japanese, spent part of his childhood in Germany. As a child, he visited Japan for a brief period and formed a friendship with Yuuki despite not knowing any Japanese at the time. Despite this, when he moved to Japan during his second year of high school, he was already proficient in the language. Chizuru is known for his optimistic disposition and has a tendency to be somewhat dim-witted. He is particularly sensitive about his height and takes great care to avoid drawing attention to it.
