Jirarudan, Lawrence III, ジラルダン

Lawrence III, also known as "The Collector," is the main antagonist in The Power of One. He's often referred to as a Pokémon collector, although there's no evidence that he owned any Pokémon before the movie. His Japanese voice actor is Takeshi Kaga and his English voice actor is Neil Stuart. Lawrence travels around the world on his airship, known as Hikōkyū, which is roughly the size of a small city, gathering artifacts. Despite having an extensive collection, he's shortsighted about the world, with his plan to capture Lugia being a reflection of this. His lack of consideration for the natural forces controlled by the legendary birds leads to his downfall. Very little is known about Lawrence's past, and the only concrete information we have comes from him in the movie. The first item in his collection was an Ancient Mew card, which remains the only thing he has left at the end of the film, motivating him to continue collecting on a smaller scale. His family is also mysterious; his mother died, and no other relatives are mentioned.
