Takeru is an anti-magic student who lacks proficiency with guns and is often criticized for it. To improve, he focused on honing his sword skills. Driven by a desire to prove the world that swords are not inferior to guns, Takeru joined Inquisition. However, after losing to Ootori Ouka, he continued striving towards becoming an inquisitor with financial motivations. His household has significant debt and he needs money for his sister's well-being as well. He leads the 35th Test Platoon, also known as Small Fry Platoon.
