An investigator in the police department specializes in hunting down Ghouls, also known as Doves. Along with his mentor Mado Kureo, he arrives in the 20th ward to investigate incidents involving these creatures. He is highly committed to justice and believes it's essential to eliminate Ghouls to protect human children from being orphaned like him. After hours, he works tirelessly to achieve this goal. Due to his personal experience as an orphan during childhood, Amon has concluded that the world is flawed and aims to change it. He sees Ghouls as the cause of this corruption and believes eradicating all of them will fix the world. However, after being saved by Ken Kaneki, he's started questioning the righteousness of his crusade. Amon has shown interest in Rabbit and Eyepatch, two specific Ghouls. He wields a "Quinque" weapon made from a Ghoul's "Kagune," resembling a pole-arm with a large cylindrical bludgeon at the end.
