Daidara was one of the bodyguards who served Esdeath, known as "The Three Beasts". He was a fanatic warrior who would fight anyone he perceived to be strong and always sought ways to improve himself. Initially, he attacked and assassinated the former Prime Minister alongside Liver and Nyau. Later, they were tasked with killing another political rival on a cruise ship. During this mission, they encountered Tatsumi and Bulat. Daidara fought Tatsumi but was easily defeated by Bulat, who cut him in half.
