The individual initially served as an attendant to Matsushita Yukitsuna, a local ruler in Imagawa clan's territory. Afterward, he journeyed across lands until arriving at Imagawa Yoshimoto's domain. Following his previous lord Oda Nobunaga's demise, Hideyoshi assumed command and put an end to the Sengoku era. Notably, Hideyoshi implemented policies that limited weapon possession to only members of the samurai class. Furthermore, he supported the renovation, construction, and restoration of numerous temples in Kyoto today.
The name Toukichirou Kinoshita is actually an alias stolen from a needle selling merchant Hideyoshi encountered prior to the storyline.
