Arena Tycoon Greta, コゴミ

In a single episode of the anime, Greta made her debut. She was portrayed as a spirited young girl who had a great passion for Pokémon battles. Besides running a karate dojo, she also pursued this interest as a hobby. Her role models were Chuck and Brawly. The only time Greta appeared on screen was in the episode "Wheel of Frontier." Before the battle began, a wheel was spun to determine how many Pokémon would be used. During battles, each trainer's intended Pokémon remained outside their Poké Ball until they fainted. A recurring joke in the episode was that Ash and Greta shared similar personalities, both being fiery and passionate about battles. In the battle against Ash Ketchum, Greta employed a Hariyama and Medicham. Despite a tough fight, Ash emerged victorious and earned the Guts Symbol. When Team Rocket appeared during the battle, Greta was already aware of their presence. She used her Medicham to send them flying after just one attack. In the manga and games, Greta serves as the leader of Battle Arena. She owns a Heracross, Shedinja, and Umbreon, and is also an animator in Battle Frontier.
