In the Charming Amethyst series, Shizuru's interest in Natsuki has evolved from an upgrade to a genuine relationship. She permanently resides with Natsuki at the Principal building when not on missions for Garderobe. Shizuru hails from Wind Bloom and was once Haruka's classmate and rival. Her weapon of choice is a naginata double-edged sword that can extend like her Mai-HiME naginata blades. She fights to safeguard her cherished person.
