Harue Akado

Harue Akado is a former coach at Achiga Girls Academy in Nara Prefecture and is featured as a main character in "Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A". She was previously renowned as the "Legend of Achiga" due to her success in leading the school's team to victory in the national high school mahjong tournament. However, following their defeat, she experienced a loss of confidence and stopped playing mahjong for some time, which eventually led to the disbandment of the team. Later on, Harue was discovered by a professional team but returned home after her employer dissolved the group.
Harues defeat in the national semifinal came at the hand of Sukoya Kokaji, who would eventually become a professional player and commentator in subsequent national high school tournaments in the main "Saki" manga.
