The character in question is a serious individual who loses the election for vice president to Ui Wakana's extroverted campaign. Despite this setback, he eventually moves into her apartment and learns that their parents had arranged an marriage between them while they were all drunk. Initially, Hayato is hesitant about living with a girl and feels disrespected by the lack of consideration for his feelings in regards to the arranged marriage. He also struggles with initiating romantic or sexual encounters. However, as time goes on, he becomes more willing to engage in sadistic activities with Ui.
