The proprietor of ABCB cafe on Orange Road, also known as Madoka's boss, recognizes and supports the romantic relationship between Kyōsuke and Madoka. He takes active steps to facilitate their reconciliation. In the manga, he closes down ABCB after it is discovered that Kyōsuke was working there, which violates Japanese laws prohibiting middle school students from holding jobs. However, in the novels, he recovers by opening one of Tokyo's first cybercafes.
