A 12th grader named Onihei is a skilled and experienced football player who is highly respected by his teammates, including Kurita. He has helped Kurita develop his playing style and introduced him to the "Funnuraba!" chant. Despite being small in stature, Onihei possesses great strength and is able to effectively block opponents. He is often seen at football games as a spectator and engages in conversations with players from other teams. Since his defeat by Mizumachi and the Poseidons, Onihei has become somewhat of a comic relief character, with Torakichi frequently making fun of him and predicting that anything he says will be wrong. However, so far this theory has not held up as Onihei has repeatedly predicted the defeat of the Devil Bats, only to have his predictions proven false by their comeback victories.
