The son of a samurai whose father was compelled to sever his own leg due to a mistake involving Jinbei's master and his son, despite no fault on his part. When summoned for Mushibugyou, Jinbei leaves Edo to join the magistrate in place of his father, hoping to make amends and restore honor to his family. Despite being stronger than most humans, Jinbei is the weakest member of the team due to a lack of experience. However, he compensates with determination and an unwavering spirit that earns him respect from his peers.
