Mai Minase  

In the initial OVA of Liminality, Mai Minase serves as the main protagonist. Her boyfriend Tomonari Kasumi invites her to join "The World," a game club where they both participate in. During their first session, they become unconscious and later regain consciousness. However, Mai discovers that her boyfriend is still in a coma state. Driven by the desire for answers, she also embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his condition. Mai possesses exceptional violin skills, which her mother encourages her to utilize professionally despite her personal preference being to play it solely as a hobby.
