Anissina is an inventor who has been gwendal's childhood friend since a young age. she often uses him as a test subject for her new inventions, which may be why he seems fearful of her at times. when günter is not available, she becomes the one in charge and her creations are seen all around the castle. many of these inventions end with "kun" and describe their intended purpose. however, some of them require the use of maryoku and can cause more harm than good. for example, an invention that allows communication with animals instead of controlling them resulted in pochi, nicolas' dragon, wreaking part of the castle. despite this, greta finds her inventions entertaining and thinks anissina is really cool.
anissina also enjoys writing adventure stories featuring herself as a superhero. these tales keep greta entertained but sometimes yuri and wolfram question their appropriateness for children. anissina belongs to one of the 10 noble families in the kingdom, and her brother is the ruler of their country. she shares a striking resemblance with marina anissina, a real-life french-russian figure skater.
