One of the two remaining members of the Hima clan who survived the massacre inflicted by Reishin and Hiyou while attempting to destroy the Tera Stone. Kakuma is one of the identical twins of the previous leader's descendant, Nagamine Ryuujin, whose contractee was Keita's grandfather. In the manga, she transforms into Shining Gallop, a white horse-like creature that takes on the form of her Exceed ability. However, in the anime, Kakuma sacrifices herself to annihilate the barrier and pave the way for access to the Pure Land, an island containing the Terra Stone.
