Tooga Yagari

Tooga Yagari, currently ranked first among vampire hunters, previously trained Zero for his role as a vampire hunter. Despite losing his right eye while trying to save him from an E-ranked vampire in the past, he briefly taught at Cross Academy to assess whether Zero poses a threat. He is also seen in volume five, expressing surprise over the council's decision to punish Zero.

Yagari reviled that the level E that he killed to save Zero and that cost him his right eye was actually his fiancée.
