The deity of a local shrine possesses the ability to cure illness if someone presents one thousand origami cranes at his place of worship. Due to disrepair and lack of attention over time, he weakened considerably. Despite this, only Natsumi ever visited his shrine. However, with the help of Kiyotsugu and his companions, the deity regained strength and was able to heal Natsumi from her affliction.
