Grimmjow Jeagerjaques was temporarily replaced as the 6th Espada by Luppi after he lost his arm and was demoted. Luppi is a young man with short black hair and a feminine face, who wears long sleeves that cover his hands. His hollow mask rests on the left side of his head, resembling a comb or barette. The location of his hollow hole is concealed, but his Espada tattoo is visible on his right hip.

Luppi tends to be rather arrogant, insulting Grimmjow for his lowered rank and boasting constantly when in battle. He tends to say "Sorry!" in a mocki
