Luak  

Luak was a pirate captain who operated from roanapur and frequently attacked the coastlines and rivers of neighboring thailand. despite being skilled, he had a tendency to attract unwanted attention (as chin once remarked, a warship had pursued him). his most recent assignment was with the minor crime lord chin. it appeared that dutch had slighted the chinese boss by favoring balalaika over him and hired luak to assassinate him and destroy the lagoon company in an ambush (chin had provided dutch with false information on a job to eliminate the lagoon company). however, from the outset, the mission was doomed. when his six ships attempted to surround the black lagoon and pelt it with gunfire, dutch managed to reverse the lagoons engines, causing one of luaks boats to be destroyed in a friendly-fire crossfire. then revy took control and single-handedly boarded four of the remaining vessels, killing their crews and blowing them up with a grenade launcher. realizing his chances were dwindling, luak decided to flee the scene - only to be blown up when revy detonated his boat. chin was eventually killed by balalaika and "hotel moscow".
