Grace is a Coordinator who took part in the Fallarbor Town Contest as a competitor. May was highly impressed with her skills and respected her greatly. Whenever May praised her, Grace's face would turn red and she would laugh uncontrollably. During the contest, both May and Grace put up strong performances, but ultimately, May's Beautifly emerged victorious, earning her first ribbon. After the battle, May complimented Grace on her battling abilities, causing her to blush again and laugh hysterically. Despite losing, Grace demonstrated exceptional skills as a Coordinator. She trains with Medicham by having it float in mid-air. In addition to her impressive performance, Grace was able to detect that Team Rocket was selling fake Pokéblocks for the contest when no one else could. When asked about the berries in those packets, Meowth responded with a confused "Umm... Berries?" Grace made a cameo appearance in Deceit and Assist, watching the Hoenn Grand Festival on television.
