Jin is one of the top sharpshooters in Kanagawa, with Mitsui being his closest competitor. Although he started out as a center, his slender build, slow movement, and weak leaping ability made it difficult for him to excel in this position. As a result, he shifted to the shooting guard role, where he could better utilize his talents. Through consistent practice, Jin improved his 3-point shooting skills by making 500 shots daily after practices. His coach was impressed with his dedication and tenacity. Despite having a mild personality, Jin always maintains a calm and agreeable demeanor. He is familiar with Fukuda from junior high school because they both played basketball together on their school team.
