In chapter 2, we meet a young Letter Bee named Connor who escorts Lag to his job interview at Cambel Litus. As Lag grows up, Connor continues to deliver letters for him and is well-liked by the townspeople. He has a sturdy build and a big appetite, but gets tired easily. His loyal companion is a hound dog named Gasu who can dig tunnels with ease. One of his special attacks is called "Heart Land Mine," which he uses by placing shards of his "Appetite" on the ground and igniting them under the Gaichuu.
