The former knight and orb hunter has a deep affection for Angelique and would do anything to safeguard her, including sacrificing his own life. He refers to her as "Angelique-sama." In the first season's final episode, she instructed him to address her simply as "Angelique" since they had developed a close friendship. A butterfly is often seen near him in the series.
