Brad Hunter is an experienced pilot who initially worked as a mercenary before joining the Blitz Team. He piloted a modified Command Wolf but later stole a prototype Shadow Fox from Dr. Layon and the Backdraft Group during a battle with Bit and Liger Zero. The conflict was halted due to both pilots being members of the same team, resulting in the Shadow Fox officially becoming part of the Blitz Team thanks to Brad's deception. Despite his mercenary background, Brad possesses remarkable physical endurance, as demonstrated when he remained conscious during a G-Force-like simulation despite intense forces. He is motivated by financial compensation and will only engage in fights if there is a promise of payment, even if it means putting team members at risk.
