Hisami Hishishii  

At school, Hisami was a reserved and quiet girl who formed a close bond with Anita. She spent much of her free time working in the library and immersing herself in books. Her friendship with Anita closely resembled that of Anne and Diana from "Anne of Green Gables," or "Red-Haired Anne" as it is known in Japanese. It was later revealed by Okahara Tohru, a longtime friend and rival of Anita at school, that Hisami harbored feelings for her.
