Abyss and his female partner are equally strong and seem aware of a connection between Shizuno Misaki (Yehl) and Gards-orm. Sin manages to enter the Oceanus with a childlike curiosity about why Celebrants continue fighting, particularly targeting Minato, Lu-Shen, Kyo, and Ryoko. When Ryoko provides an answer that pleases her, she transfers some of her data to Ryoko to restore her apparition, although Ryoko's emotional component data remains trapped in the Altair. Through Ryoko, Sin gains a better understanding of what it means to be human, though he struggles to grasp human values fully.
