Captain Zinnerman is referred to as "Master" by Marida, which bothers him. Despite this, she follows his orders faithfully. Initially, Marida believes that Newtypes are meant to be used as weapons. She also harbors a deep hatred for the idea of the Gundam, and her objective changes to completely destroying it when one appears. After meeting with Banagher Links and recovering from the Banshee's cockpit, Marida's personality undergoes a change, and kindness becomes apparent. Marida is an accomplished pilot and possesses artificial Cyber Newtype abilities. She also has proficiency in military martial arts. When piloting the Kshatriya, she employs funnels to overwhelm enemies with multi-directional ranged attacks, eliminating weaker opponents while restricting stronger ones' movement. If necessary, she uses beam sabers and holds back on using mega particle cannons.
