Shizuno Takakamo

Shizuno Takakamo is a high school student at Achiga Girls Academy in Nara Prefecture who stars in the manga series "Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A". In elementary school, she befriended Nodoka Haramura and played mahjong together in Achigas mahjong club. She was second best player in the club before it disbanded. Upon seeing Nodoka on TV as a middle school champion, Shizuno decided to re-establish the club at high school with the goal of competing against her former friend in the national team tournament.
Shizuno is an energetic and athletic girl who loves hanging out with friends and having fun. Her never-give-up attitude makes her a formidable opponent, and she steps up to cheer on her teammates when they need motivation.
Her special ability allows Shizuno to block the other players abilities. The more tiles taken from the corner of the wall, the stronger her ability is. "The deeper players go in the mountains, the closer they are to her territory". Thats why she was called The Master of the deep mountains during the semi-final match.
