Kain was a ruthless murderer with an A-1 criminal classification, responsible for causing widespread destruction on 12 planets and taking more than 250,000 lives. He was eventually captured by the Galaxy Police at great cost to himself and the Jurai emperor, who sealed him away in a subspace prison within the GPHQ headquarters. After 100 years of imprisonment, Kain managed to break free from his confinement and destroyed the GPHQ. In doing so, he traveled back through time by more than 26 years to kill one of his captors - Achika Masaki, a direct descendant of those who had imprisoned him.
