Although he initially finds her attitude towards music immature, he later refers to her as "Bebe-chan" and offers her an opportunity to study in Paris under his tutelage. This offer comes despite Francks envy, who also sees Nodame's potential but recognizes the limited time she has to hone her skills. Despite her initial reluctance to become a professional pianist, Auclair believes that Nodame possesses tremendous potential and encourages her to pursue her passion for music.
