The "Head Researcher" is an individual who existed before the start of the main story and went by different names such as "Idiot Inventor," "Stupid Chief Engineer," or "The Scientist." Although we don't have direct knowledge of their life, we can learn about them through their research diaries. They were born in modern Japan and sent to a distant-past Fantasy World for the purpose of defeating its Demon King.
