Since childhood, Akane has been passionate about running. She joined the track team in middle school and excels in sprints. Due to her father's job transfers, she moved to Kawagoe as a fifth-grader. She lives in an apartment with her family, which includes her hilarious father, cheerful mother, older sister who is two years ahead of her, and diligent personality that makes her excel academically with excellent grades. Although Akane can be boastful at times, she tries to read the school atmosphere before acting. She struggles with anxiety and uses a mascot character named "imo" as a good luck charm for relaxation.
